Pooches in the Park was created as a welcoming community event for dogs and their owners. The project required a playful and recognisable brand identity that communicated the event’s friendly atmosphere and appealed to local families and dog lovers.
The creative process began by considering the interests and expectations of dog owners attending a community event. The identity needed to feel inclusive, approachable and full of personality while remaining clear and practical across different marketing formats.
A vibrant visual direction was developed to capture the energy and enjoyment associated with dogs and outdoor events. The logo, colour palette, typography and supporting graphic elements worked together to create a distinctive and memorable identity.
The visual style was supported by simple, upbeat communication that spoke directly to the event’s audience. Clear messaging made important information easy to understand while maintaining the playful character of the Pooches in the Park brand.
The identity was designed to remain consistent across print and digital event marketing. Its flexible design system could be applied to promotional graphics, signage, social media content and other event materials without losing recognition or impact.
Concepts were developed and refined in collaboration with the event team. Feedback throughout the process helped ensure the completed branding reflected the event’s purpose, connected with its audience and worked across practical promotional requirements.
The finished brand identity gave Pooches in the Park a colourful and cohesive presence that celebrated the connection between dogs, their owners and the wider community. The result was a flexible foundation for promoting a friendly and engaging local event.
